  • Leadership at Prodigal is all about setting the tone for the company culture by exemplifying and practicing the values and behaviors they want to see reflected throughout the organization. This includes demonstrating qualities such as bias for action, specificity, excellence, radical candor, and curious optimism in their own actions and decisions. They serve as role models for employees at all levels for the company culture. Our employee appreciation policies run horizontally and vertically where the leaders get a pat on the back for good work as well as candid day-to-day feedback for improvement. We believe in a give-and-take approach when it comes to maintaining company culture where it doesn’t flow either from the top or bottom but goes around. 

  • Employee recognition happens on a day-to-day basis as well as bi-annually at Prodigal. Since the inception of Prodigal, we have had a Taco-Candy policy to recognize, encourage, and regulate our company's core values and our employees' achievements across it. For good work, employees receive a taco, symbolizing satisfaction and appreciation. Great work merits a candy reward, celebrating exceptional performance around our 5 core values. Not acceptable work is addressed with a carrot, offering constructive feedback and encouragement for improvement. Similarly, our Bi-annual performance reviews are followed. Rewards are given in the form of spot bonuses (which are not exhaustive in number), Starbucks vouchers, promotions, and routine appraisals. Unlike traditional organizations, the above-mentioned rewards aren’t limited to once a year and individual high performances also warrant it.
